 Gypsy Tea Party & Fashion Show Raised OVER $600 In It's First Year for Local Breast Cancer Programs and Organizations!

Statistics
According to the National Cancer Institute . . .
 
About 192,370 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009.
 
40,170 women will die of the disease this year.
 
A woman who is now 40 years old has a 1.44 percent chance of being diagnosed with breast cancer over the next 10 years.
 
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death in women after lung cancer.
 
1,600 men are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year - and 400 are predicted to die of it.
 
11 million cancer survivors will celebrate birthdays this year! That's a sign of progress, however there still everyday expenses and challenges to battle.

 Knowing all this, I just won.t accept that there's nothing I can do. And, since cancer has unfortunately touched my own family and myself, I feel even more compelled to do something-anything-to bring us one step closer to finding a cure and ending the suffering. I want to help those people who's lives have been touched/affected by breast cancer and who are ready to: Punch It, Strangle It, Kick It, Spit on It, Choke It and Pummel It until Its Good and Dead (not just horror movie dead but really dead, truly dead). And then tie a pink ribbon on it!."
